TVS DSG racing clutch
TVS DSG Racing clutches are designed to increase clutch torque capacity to the maximum without sacrificing reliability or drivability. To achieve this we carefully balanced the friction surface area, friction materials, plate designs and clutch pack shimming. A perfect balance between different aspects is the key for an excellent performing DSG racing clutch!
Too often clutches with too many friction plates, too thin steel plates and bad friction plate designs are available on the market. All of these aspects have a negative effect on the reliability and drivability of the DSG transmission.

Proven for years
The TVS DQ250 DSG racing clutches are running strong and reliable for years without any major modifications after the first release back in 2009. Based on this knowledge and experience TVS Engineering further expanded their DSG racing clutches program with the DQ380 , DQ381 , DQ500 and DL501 .

Racing clutch specifications
For the DQ250 and DQ380/DQ381 we recommend our DQ500 conversion for torque levels above 700Nm respectively 800Nm. For racing applications an upgraded clutch is always recommended.

When do I need a TVS DSG upgrade racing clutch?
Our Stage III DSG software is the strongest DSG software available on the market wherein maximum physically possible clutch pressures and extremely high stock clutch torque capacities are achieved. If your engine application produces more torque than the maximum supported engine torque of our Stage III software, you simply do need an upgraded race clutch! See the maximum supported engine torque on stock clutch together with TVS Stage III software here. For motorsport / racetrack applications TVS always advise to use our upgraded race clutches!
Is it needed to adjust software after installing a DSG upgrade racing clutch?
Yes, it is absolutely needed to upgrade the TCU software after installing an upgraded DSG race clutch. If this is not performed there will be no benefit after installing the upgraded DSG racing clutch.
Which TVS DSG software Stage do I need together with an upgrade racing clutch?
TVS Stage IV DSG software is custom made software for TVS or aftermarket DSG upgrade race clutches.
